The transportation of people in "Voitures de Tourisme avec Chauffeur" (VTC) is regulated by the French Tourism Code. In France, these vehicles are driven by certified drivers who hold a professional chauffeur's card and have the necessary qualifications. These authorized personnel comply strictly with social, tax and labor laws.
Vehicles and drivers are subject to regular checks by the relevant authorities.
The prices indicated are calculated in euros, all taxes included.
They include the driver's service and the costs incurred by the use of the vehicle, with the exception of customized transport services as described in the special conditions.
The number of passengers and the volume of luggage carried determine the vehicle's capacity.
The responsibility of CONTINENTAL LIMOUSINES is expressly released in the event of the passenger's failure to comply with transport regulations. The customer is solely responsible for any fines, penal sanctions or material or physical damage resulting from such non-compliance.
Transport services for transfers within Paris and its inner suburbs are calculated on the basis of the public fare scale. CONTINENTAL LIMOUSINES and are not subject to any surcharge.
Multiple transport services in Paris and its inner suburbs are invoiced in accordance with an estimate drawn up in advance, taking into account the following elements: type of car, hourly rate, maximum mileage, plus any additional charges and allowances (tolls, parking, additional kilometers, allowances for the driver, meals, nights, Sundays or public holidays, etc., without this list being exhaustive).
The sales department will inform the customer in advance of any such additional charges. No discount or commission is granted on any compensation or charges subject to tax.
If a reservation is not cancelled 24 hours before the agreed pick-up time, or if the customer is absent at the time of pick-up, the customer will be billed in full.
Terms of payment: Payment for the transport service is made before it is carried out.
Any deferred payment must be negotiated with the sales department prior to shipment. In this case, any advance payments received are non-refundable. In addition, any payment after the due date indicated on the invoice will result in the application of late payment penalties based on three times the legal rate in force, in accordance with the provisions of LME law no. 2008-776. It is expressly agreed that any disputes arising from this document shall be referred to the Tribunal de Commerce de Paris, or any other jurisdiction at the sole discretion of CONTINENTAL LIMOUSINES.
